A FLOOD WARNING update has been issued for Portsoy to Macduff.
The continued strong north-westerly winds, which become northerly overnight, combined with spring high tides means that flooding from the sea is expected to affect low lying land, roads and properties along the Moray Firth from Portsoy to Macduff. Flooding in and around low lying parts of Macduff is possible. Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide at 13:15 GMT on Tuesday 4th but may also be possible at the high tide at 01:45 GMT on Wednesday 5th.

A combination of spring high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea is expected to affect low lying land, roads and properties along the Moray Firth from Portsoy to Macduff. Flooding in and around low lying parts of Macduff is possible. Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide at 12:45 GMT on Tuesday 4th.

Flooding and wave overtopping in and around low lying parts of Macduff is possible. Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide at 16:30, Friday 26th November 2021.
